About Crease

Crease is a free daily origami puzzle. You start with a square of paper and a dashed target shape, and fold the paper until it covers the shape exactly. Grab the paper anywhere and pull it over: it folds straight across, straight down, or corner to corner, and every fold goes through all the layers, just like real paper.

There are three new puzzles every day. Easy uses straight folds only, Medium adds diagonal folds, and Hard has you folding over earlier folds. Each straight edge of the target is a clue to a fold. Match the par, the fewest folds it can be done in, without hints for three stars.

Finished all three? Practice mode has endless extra puzzles at any difficulty. New paper arrives at midnight.

How to fold

  1. Fold your paper so it covers the dashed shape exactly, in the same spot.
  2. Grab the paper anywhere and pull it over. It folds after your finger, straight across, straight down, or corner to corner.
  3. Let go and the crease snaps onto the nearest guide line. Every fold goes through all the layers, like real paper.
  4. Read the shape: each straight edge of it is a fold (or the paper's own edge). Easy folds straight, Medium adds diagonals, Hard folds over earlier folds.
  5. Match the par with no hints for three stars.
