What this is
Blame Nick is where Nick puts the little games he makes. Each one is a puzzle you can finish over a cup of tea: a fresh one every day at midnight, the same for everyone, so you can compare notes with friends.
Some games stick around, some don't. What people play, and what they write in about, decides what comes next. If anything's broken, that's Nick's fault too, hence the name.
The games
- CreaseDaily origami: fold the paper until it matches the shape.
- Knot ReallyOne tangled question a day. Untangle it, then guess the number.
- SnugA daily packing puzzle: bend every piece round the islands.
- Killer CluesA cryptic murder clue a day. Work out what did it.
Who makes them
Nick: one person, who comes up with the games, builds them and keeps them running. There's no team and no company behind it, just a lot of late nights and an inbox that gets read.
Players help too. Crease folds and Snug trays made by players go up for everyone to try, and you can send in your own Killer Clues cases and Knot Really questions, which Nick reads before they go live.
A few promises
- Free to play. Every game here works in your browser, at no cost.
- No account needed. Play as a guest; sign in only if you want your progress on more than one device.
- Very little about you. The site keeps as little as it can, and the privacy page says exactly what and why.
- Kind community puzzles. Everything players send in goes through a rude-word filter, and any Crease fold can be reported if something slips through.
